Minjeong Ko / Seoul, Korea
Since she painted the picture book "The box", she has been working as a picture book creator and illustrator in South Korea. She held an exhibition with her original paintings from the picture book, "The box".
She has also participated in five group exhibitions and she steadily produces independent publications with the artist group called 'Yi-Sam-Gong-Pi'. She loves to draw pictures by using dots. She creates images by making and breaking her own rules whilst using diverse dots that are accumulated one by one in a repetitive way.
She thinks "myself in the present time " is the result of accumulated experiences and decisions. This is reflected in how she paints using many dots. She usually likes to draw natural objects or animals.
